By accessing or using QSync ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users who connect a Xero organisation to QSync.
QSync is a third-party reporting tool that connects to Xero via the official Xero API. It retrieves your transaction data — including invoice and bill line items, bank transactions, and manual journals — and displays it in a filterable general ledger report with quantity columns.
QSync is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Xero Limited.
To use QSync, you must authorise it to access your Xero organisation via Xero's OAuth 2.0 flow. By doing so, you grant QSync read-only access to the following data:
QSync requests read-only access only. It cannot create, modify, or delete any data in your Xero account.
You can revoke QSync's access at any time via Xero Settings → Connected Apps.
You agree to use QSync only for its intended purpose of viewing and exporting your own Xero financial data. You must not:
QSync retrieves data directly from the Xero API. The accuracy of your reports depends on the accuracy of the data held in your Xero account. QSync does not modify, interpret, or validate your financial data.
QSync is a reporting and viewing tool — it is not a substitute for professional accounting advice. Do not rely solely on QSync for financial decisions or regulatory compliance.
QSync is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, Xero API outages, or infrastructure issues outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
The QSync application, including its code, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of its developer. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without permission.
Your financial data remains your property. QSync does not claim any ownership over data retrieved from your Xero account.
You may stop using QSync at any time by revoking access via Xero's Connected Apps settings. You may also contact us to request deletion of your stored data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for users who violate these terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of QSync after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
